Extra Improvements

April 19, 2004 - The business future of Extra Aircraft improved with a new investor group in August 2003. Marketing and support centers are being established to improve sales and the availability of parts and technical information. Now, sales and the production slots for the new Extra 500 turboprop, expected to receive certification this month, are sold out. To fulfill the orders, the company is improving the efficiency and integration of the 400/500 production line and increasing the production of the Extra 300 from two per month to three.
