EXTRA AIRCRAFT DEALER COMING TO WEST COAST


LANCASTER, Pa. – Extra Aircraft is continuing to grow its U.S. dealer network with the expansion of one of its current dealers, USAero of Denver, to Long Beach, California.

“USAero has been researching opportunities to expand for quite some time,” said Jeff Puckett, owner of USAero. “Long Beach was an easy choice because of its central location along the West Coast, its aviation history and its owner-operated pilot base.”

The 12,500-square-foot sales center is a complete sales, delivery and business center for Extra, Diamond and Mooney customers. USAero will have an EA-300 inventory, and demo rides will be available to potential customers by an authorized Extra salesperson. The new facility will feature a 35 percent scale replica of the Extra 300 flown by world-champion pilot Peter Besenyei in the Red Bull Air Races hanging upside down from the ceiling. USAero will also have an associated service center located two doors down from the facility.

“Long Beach is an ideal location for Extra,” said Ken Weaver, president of Extra Aircraft. “USAero’s expansion to the West Coast allows our current and potential customers improved service, which is our main goal.”

USAero will be holding an open house on Saturday, August 20, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. PDT to kickoff the opening of the state-of-the-art sales and delivery center. The public is welcome to meet the USAero and Extra sales and management teams. An EA-300 aerobatic plane will be on display alongside Extra’s newest addition, the six-place turboprop EA-500. Demo flights will be available.
